IT'S A GIRL!
I know many of you have been waiting for a baby Rosowsky update, so here it is! Emery Anna was born at 8:04pm on July 4th. Yes, she was 5 days early. She has lots of black hair and is cute, cute cute! I will post a picture of her when I have a little more time.
We have been very busy changing diapers and constantly feeding her...she sure can eat. We hope to run into you over the summer when we are out and about.
Have a great summer everyone!

Wrapping up the year!
Our school year is quickly coming to a close. We have many events in the next six school days including a play day, meet the teacher day, awards day and a talent show.
Grade 5/6R will also be finishing up some unit tests so good luck and don't forget to study!
Sadly, I will be leaving this week and saying good-bye to my wonderful class but look forward to seeing them out and about over the summer.

Enjoy your break!
We had a few jokers in our class this morning taking part in April Fools Day. It's too bad those students were late because they missed out on all the fun activities we did without them... Luckily, the pranks ended at noon.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter and a relaxing break. Enjoy the warm weather and time with your friends and families.

Popcorn Launchers
This week in Science we have been exploring gravity potential energy (stored energy waiting to be released) as well as the Law of Conservation of Energy (the idea that energy is never lost, it just changes form). The students worked very hard constructing popcorn launchers to demonstrate gravity potential energy.
