Another Great Week at School!

A big thank you to all the parents who came out for interviews this week! It was great to share all the improvements we are seeing in the students.
We are pleased to have a new classroom library on the way and are very excited to use the new reading corner! The grade 6's are well into the second term and are starting new units.
We welcome the snow and say good bye to the slippery playground! Have a great weekend everyone:)

We're Baaaack!

6R is back on track! We have been very busy with all of our classroom work these last couple months. We have already completed several units in Math and have learned about Peace and Conflict in Language Arts. In P.E. we have learned about soccer and football skills and now we are working on our volleyball skills. Science class has been a blast with the exploration of the Diversity of Living Things where we have learned about the animal kingdom. Recently, Language Arts and Science have been partnered up, as these units are about Space and Flight.

We attended a lovely Remembrance Day ceremony last week and we are returning after a VERY long weekend to 4 new computers in our room! We are looking forward to many more posts but until then, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow:)
