Popcorn Launchers

This week in Science we have been exploring gravity potential energy (stored energy waiting to be released) as well as the Law of Conservation of Energy (the idea that energy is never lost, it just changes form). The students worked very hard constructing popcorn launchers to demonstrate gravity potential energy.

Our class would like to send out a HUGE thank you to Mrs. Murphy for donating a microwave to our classroom. We will put it to good use daily.

A busy March is under way!

Our class is extremely happy that the weather is beginning to cooperate...bring on the sun!

Congratulations to our two grade 6 members of the debate team. They were recently informed that they are off to provincials in Saskatoon next weekend. Great job girls and good luck!
