Popcorn Launchers

This week in Science we have been exploring gravity potential energy (stored energy waiting to be released) as well as the Law of Conservation of Energy (the idea that energy is never lost, it just changes form). The students worked very hard constructing popcorn launchers to demonstrate gravity potential energy.

  2. Hahaha!That was soooooooooo much fun!About as much fun as the volcanoes.I knew my group would win....had a feeling.So now we get the bragging rights.....no offence to the others.8-)

  3. That experiment was so fun. I was sad that our popcorn launcher didn't work but it was fun seeing all the other groups popcorn launchers work.

  5. The popcorn launchers were awesome!!!!! Most of us had troulble dropping the nickle exactly on our launchers though. ;( It was fun anyways! ML:)

  8. I loved this experemint even though ours didn't go anywhere i still had lots of fun and i tried it at home and on try 42 it went super far!
